Cora brand trip
focus: influencer and editor management, IRL activations, social media strategy, community building, brand partnerships
Last summer, Cora approached me with a question: how could they impress their Target buyers and strengthen their relationship with Target? My answer: a spin on the popular influencer brand trip format, but to a lesser known destination — Minneapolis, the home of Target.
To make matters sweeter, we planned the trip around Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet Tour” at the Target Center—the perfect headliner to our Minneapolis girl’s weekend.
On the weekend itinerary:
Welcome 11 influencers + editors to The Four Seasons MN
Espresso Martini Happy Hour + a fancy dinner
Yogalates Class sponsored by Bala
Target shopping spree
GRWM for Sabrina Carpenter sponsored by Pixi
The concert + a viral moment!

trip highlights
room drops
We decorated each hotel room with Cora products, gifts from brand partners, and other cohesive elements to create a strong first impression, welcoming the influencers to the brand trip. The women loved the drops from our custom merch to turn-down service, evident in the organic room drop content.
bala yogalates class
Influencer and Bala pilates instructor Trish Pogue not only joined us for the trip, but also led a yogalates class tailored to the phases of your cycle. Bala, another Target-sold brand, sponsored this portion of the trip and equipped us with Bala Bangles and mats. Paired with Cora’s Made-to-Move pad, this was the perfect way to kick off a busy Monday.
target shopping spree
To highlight Cora’s longstanding relationship with Target, we gave the influencers a shopping spree at Target. They bought out their favorite Target goodies, concert essentials, and of course, did a Cora photoshoot. Afterwards, we headed around the corner to see our Cora billboard.
pixi grwm
Pixi, a beauty brand also sold at Target, sponsored our “Get Ready With Me” portion of the evening. We decked out an additional Four Seasons room with Pixi and Cora products, snacks, drinks, accessories, and everything necessary for the influencers to complete their concert looks.
espresso martini happy hour + welcome dinner
Keeping up with our nods to Sabrina Carpenter, we welcomed our guests with an espresso martini happy hour at the Four Seasons, the perfect icebreaker for the creators to meet each other and the Cora team. We then headed to Spoon & Stable, a popular MN restaurant. We celebrated with (more) espresso martinis, a coursed dinner, and a beautiful Cora tablescape.
sabrina carpenter concert
We then headed to our suite at the Target Center, which we decked out in more Cora products and fun signs. The girls sang along, danced, gave out tampons to other concert-goers, took tons of content, and felt united by the music and girlhood. Plus — Sabrina shouted out our sign (more on that next…)
Our viral moment
Our cheeky period care signs paid off—Sabrina Carpenter herself read aloud, '“Does that sign say ‘need a tampon?’” The Cora team and influencers went wild at this acknowledgment, and it was quickly captured by not only the Cora Instagram, but also the influencers, other concert-goers, media outlets, and Target Center.
This video broke Cora’s record for Instagram engagement and brought the brand in front of millions of additional customers. It was a memorable and perfect way to end our first-ever brand trip!
