Daughters for Earth is a fund and a movement focused on supporting, celebrating, and mobilizing women to protect and restore our Earth, founded by humanitarian Zainab Salbi. The organization wanted support to launch their new campaign — The Hummingbird Effect. The campaign mobilized $100 million to fund women-led efforts to protect land and water, and shift to regenerative agriculture and renewable energy. They needed my help raising awareness about their efforts via influencers as well as a campaign launch party during Climate Week in NYC.

  • The 300 person event took place at Urban Zen, Donna Karan’s store in the West Village. Zainab and three Daughters spoke and shared their stories of land restoration in their respective communities.

    I put together and executed the event from start to finish. This included finding drink sponsors, a DJ, and a photographer, curating a partnership with boutique jewelry brand Surya and the Moon, and inviting an all-star cast of celebrities and influencers like Ashley Judd and the Dutchess of York.

  • Leading up to and after the launch of The Hummingbird Effect, I worked with 10 influencers to post about the campaign and its impact on women around the world. These posts resulted in over 100,000 views and increased donations to Daughters for Earth.
